If you are in Angeles City and craving authentic Korean street food, Sinjeon Tteokbokki is a must-visit! I recently stopped by and had a chance to try some of their dishes. Here’s my full review.

The restaurant exterior is simple yet clearly recognizable as a Korean eatery, making it easy to find.

The menu offers more than just tteokbokki. You can find rice bowls, kimbap, chicken, side dishes, and drinks. It’s almost the same lineup as what you’d find at Sinjeon branches in Korea.

🌶️ Tteokbokki (Spicy Level 3)

I ordered the spicy level 3 tteokbokki, and for Koreans, this spice level is quite manageable. The rice cakes were chewy, the sauce was flavorful, and it felt just like eating in Korea.

🍱 Spam Mayo Rice Bowl & Gim-mari

One of my favorites was the Spam Mayo Rice Bowl — salty, creamy, and so satisfying.
The gim-mari (fried seaweed rolls) were perfectly crispy, and dipping them into the tteokbokki sauce made them even better.

They even served complimentary dumplings, which was a pleasant surprise! The fried chicken was also tasty, crispy on the outside and juicy inside — definitely worth trying.

Next time, I’m planning to order the Dalgona Coffee and Kimbap. I feel like they would go perfectly with the tteokbokki.
